<p class="MsoNormal" style="justify;"><span style="#0000ff;"><span style="#0000ff;">USADTF regrets to be unable to send a team to the 1st World Championships in Izmir, Turkey from September 22 to 28.  Time of the year is the biggest factor.  Many athletes are returning to school and some are enrolling college for the first time.  The time of the year is quite difficult on USA athletes and coaches.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="justify;"><span style="#0000ff;"><span style="#0000ff;">Head Coach Thomas Withrow is deeply concerned and will work harder to make sure all athletes go to the Deaflympics in 2009.  It will be held from September 5 through 16.  </span></span></p>
